It is My Cup of Tea..........1

Tea, according to documented evidence in various sources on the subject ; originated from China and has been drunk for centuries because of its medicinal values....

Tea is classified into different types by the way the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis are processed = the following teas are from same plant:

GREEN TEA----Is the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis that has gone through the least oxidation during processing..... It is loaded with benefits.

There is documented evidence that it protects against a lot of cancers and cardiovascular diseases.

It is also thought to aid weight loss.....

Green tea has flavonoids (what makes a food item have anticarcinogenic and antioxidant properties ) in a level that surpasses any other food or drink considered traditionally healthy.

For the purpose of weight loss and healthy lifestyle this should be our 2nd water.....

OOLONG ( Wulong) TEA---Is the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis that has been dried in the sun and semi oxidized.

According to a study published in 2002 it helps the blood sugar levels of people with type 2 diabetes.

It promotes weight loss by aiding fat metabolism. .....

WHITE TEA-------Is got from the buds and young leaves of the Chinese variety of the tea plant.

It has the highest antioxidant properties in all the teas. Since all these teas are from same source they have a lot of the properties in common.

NB .....Tea has caffeine albeit in reduced quantity compared to coffee; so that it stimulates mental alertness without putting undue pressure on the heart.

IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH YOUR HEALTH; KINDLY CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE TAKING THESE TEAS.

                                                                                           To Be Continued........
