Loosing weight easily.....

  The liver is the major fat - burning organ in the body.......so it is our weight loss ' engine'
and can thus be fed to aid weight loss consistently.



                 
           
        This vital organ does a myriad of functions among which are fat metabolism , production of bile and detoxification.

          Our liver acts as a filter to cleanse out chemicals and toxins : food additives and preservatives fall into this category: even pesticides and environmental toxins too.

          In order to boost liver function and thereby increase our bodies' capacity to metabolize fat with the result of  weight loss, we NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO OUR LIVERS.


  • Eliminate Alcohol or Consume sparingly...( too much empty calories anyway )
  • Stay away from fried foods .....they are difficult to digest and burden the liver.
  • Eliminate Margarine a.k.a hydrogenated fats and even the partially hydrogenated fats from your diet.......the liver will have to filter out this toxic 'food'.  You can replace it with real butter ( eat sparingly ) or nut butters.
  • Be careful with medication......kindly go for only prescribed and sourced at an authentic place.
  •  Eliminate food additives, stock cubes, preservatives and colouring.
Now to the foods that support liver health and act as a tonic

  1. Lemons
  2. Garlic......taken raw.....did I hear you say iiiiiiiuuuuuuuwww # wink#
  3. Onion
  4. Cruciferous veggies like cabbage , cauliflower , broccoli etc
  5. Grapefruit
  6. Turmeric
  7. Beetroot
  8. Cinnamon
  9. Green tea
  10. Avocados
  11. Walnuts
  12.  Aim to drink 2 big Eva bottle of water daily ( 3 litres)
 If you are stuck on a particular weight or you just want to jumpstart your weight loss program, simply follow this post......and eat these good foods mostly raw except for cabbage , cauliflower and broccoli which are best sauteed or lightly steamed.

     Beetroots are best juiced...
